Enhancements (New Features and Functionality)
Enhancements are new features and functionality that have been added to the software.
- Allow Custom Memory Settings for GDC
Introduces custom settings for Data Hubs and allows for independent memory settings for each Tetra Data Hub.
Bug Fixes
The following bug fixes were made to the platform:
-
DI-5491, DI-5542 - Large File Processing Optimization
This removes any processing errors for files greater than 100 MB. This version enhances our full text indexing feature by including the most critical data yet preventing indexing for unnecessary portions of the document. It adds new data filtering improvements (which removes numerical data before indexing documents) and limits RAW and IDS indexed data to a maximum size of 5 MB. As a result, this fix optimizes the software for size, speed, and cost of the TDP Platform. Reliability enhancements also enable a graceful shutdown process and retries during infrastructure scaling events. Logging improvements expose more data to simplify debugging, and error exceptions eliminate silent failures. The data transformation order was modified to eliminate partial success. Other improvements include resolving rare cases related to data definition which prevented successful data loading, and failures due to schema definition conflicts. -
PIPE-410 - Source Type Flickers and Page Refresh Increase
Extends the automatic refresh period on the pipeline processing page to work with a large number of workflows. -
PIPE-401 - Improved Workflow Kick-Off Management
Adds reliability to the initial pipeline workflow creation that can be impacted by temporary database connection issues. The change introduces multiple retries and adds a notification when failures occur.
Deprecated Features
The following feature is deprecated:
- Pipeline Dashboard
The pipeline dashboard is still available; however, its functionality has been relocated to the Pipeline Monitoring and Pipeline Processing screens.
Minor Functionality Changes
The following is a minor functionality change for this software version:
- Send OK Alarm on Item Start
Enhances notification for the Tetra Data Hub functionality.
Known Issue
Occasionally, during heavy workflow processing, the Pipeline Processing Page loads slowly and may time out. If this occurs, please use the Pipeline Dashboard page to view the page processing details instead.
