Send Integration Logs to TetraScience for Troubleshooting
You can send logs for the following integration types directly from the Tetra Data Platform (TDP) to the TetraScience Support Team for troubleshooting:
The logs are sent to a secured Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) bucket that's owned by TetraScience. The bucket is used for troubleshooting purposes only. After 30 days, integration logs are deleted.
NOTE
To submit support requests, see Submit a Support Ticket.
Send Integration Logs to TetraScience
To send logs for a specific integration to the TetraScience Support Team for troubleshooting support, do the following:
- Sign in to the TDP.
- In the left navigation menu, choose Data Sources. A list of data sources appears.
- Choose a supported integration type (Agents, Connectors, or Hubs). The page for that integration type appears.
- Select the name of the integration that you want to send logs for. The Details page for the integration appears.
- In the Send Logs to Support section, in the Select date field, choose the date that you want to start collecting logs for. Then, in the drop-down list to the right, select the number of days that you want to collect logs for.
NOTE
The date entered in the Select date field must be on or after the date that the integration was created. If you enter a date that occurred before the integration was created, then the TDP returns a 400 error code when you try to send the logs.
- Choose Send Logs. The logs are sent to the TetraScience Support Team's Amazon S3 bucket. The request appears in the Last 7 Days of Requests section on the Diagnostics page.
- (Optional) To view the integration's Amazon CloudWatch logs, select Cloudwatch Logs. The Amazon CloudWatch console opens, where you can view the agent's CloudWatch logs. For more information, see Getting started with CloudWatch Logs in the AWS documentation.
