Monitor Events

To assess the health and performance of events that occur both in and outside of the Tetra Data Platform (TDP), you can use the Events tab on the Health Monitoring Dashboard in the TDP.

IMPORTANT

The Events tab displays Tetra File-Log Agent file events that have occurred within the previous seven days only. Incorporating events from other integration types is planned for a future TDP release.

View Events

To view the Events tab on the Health Monitoring Dashboard, do the following:

  1. Sign in to the TDP as an admin user.
  2. In the left navigation menu, choose Health Monitoring. The Health Monitoring Dashboard appears.
  3. Select the Events tab. The Events Health Monitoring Dashboard appears and displays a list of all of your Tetra File-Log Agent's file events that have occurred within the previous seven days, both within the TDP environment and outside of it.

Filter Options for Events

The Events tab on the Health Monitoring Dashboard provides the following filter options:

  • EVENTS—shows the specific event
  • FILE—shows the file that generated the event
  • SOURCE—shows the Agent that produced the file associated with the event

An EVENT TIME is also listed for each event, but isn't an available filter field currently.
