Tetra UNICORN Agent Installation Checklist

The following checklist provides information that you can use to help you get started with installing the Tetra UNICORN Agent. For more information, see the latest Tetra UNICORN Agent installation guide.

[ ] Make sure that the Agent can be installed on the same machine as the UNICORN client.

The host machine should not be used by the scientist for experiments at the same time. When the Agent is running, they might interfere with each other.

[ ] Make sure that the hardware is compatible with the UNICORN client.

[ ] Make sure that UNICORN Software is installed (v6.x or v7.0-v7.8).
[ ] Install .NET Framework 4.8. Talk to your customer success manager (CSM) to learn how to install this.
[ ] Get the latest UNICORN Agent installer. Talk to your CSM to learn how to get this.
[ ] Verify that the UNICORN HDA Service is up and running in Windows Services.

You must turn off Logon required for HDA clients for testing the HDA connection. However, you can turn it back on later, if you want the Agent to access UNICORN by using a user account. For more information, see Passing User Credentials (HDA Logon Required).
