Each TetraScience customer is represented by one tenant on the Tetra Data Platform (TDP). Tenants are the highest level entity in the TDP and can include one or more organizations, which contain user accounts. Each user account can be configured with various roles and permissions.

Tenant-Level Settings

Organization administrators can configure the following actions at the tenant level:

• Configure timeout settings
• Set password policies
• Configure single sign-on (SSO) settings

Password policies are set at the tenant level. Organizations within the same tenant must use the same password policies.

Organization-Level Settings

Organization administrators can configure the following actions at the organization level:

• Create organizations
• Switch between organizations
• Rename an organization
• Configure default search settings
• Configure compliance settings
• Configure data access rules
• Manage user accounts
• Manage service user accounts
• Make sure that your organization can communicate with AWS
• Manually activate AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) key rotation
