Output Files and Archive Policy

The following output files are available for Tetra File-Log Agent v3.0.0 and higher.

When the upload succeeds, it will be removed from the temp folder, otherwise the file will be kept in the temp folder till next time interval (24 hours)

The Agent replaces it with the current Sqlite database in next time interval and reupload the file.
System Metrics
(Cpu, memory and disk usage)
Output to the File-Log Group User default Windows temp folder as JSON file.The Agent monitors the server performance, output system metrics to a JSON-based file every minute.

The Agent uploads the system metrics file to TetraScience Data Platform when the file is generated.

If upload fails, the files will be kept in the temp folder. The Agent will upload it in next time interval (one minute)

In case the upload continues failing, the Agent keeps the files up to 72 hours as maximum. Beyond that, the files will removed to save disk space

If the File Mode is selected, the files will be kept the same format as its source file.

If the Folder Mode is selected, the folder will be compressed as a zip file.
The Agent uploads the output files to TetraScience Data Platform in a time interval specified in Management Console.

When the upload succeeds, the output files will be deleted from output folder otherwise, the files will be kept in the output folder for retrying in next upload time interval.

There is no maximum retry number.
Agent LogLogs folder under the Agent installation folder.

The log file is JSON based.
The Agent creates a new log file every minute. The previous log files are archived to logs\archive folder.

The Agent uploads the archived log files to TetraScience Data Platform in 5 minutes.

If upload successes, the logs will be moved to backup folder (logs\archive\backup) , otherwise, the files will be kept in the logs\archive folder. The upload will be retried in next upload time interval.

In case the upload continues failing, the Agent will keep the log files up to 72 hours. Beyond that, the files will be deleted to save disk space.
