Installation and Configuration Report v2.x Release Notes
The following are the Installation and Configuration Report release notes for versions 2.x. The Embedded Data App based on Streamlit creates on-demand reports for an organization, including pipeline configurations, Tetra Agent and Connector configuration details, user roles and access groups, and other settings as available through the TetraScience API. This report can help with migrating changes between Tetra Data Platform (TDP) environments and last mile GxP validation efforts.
To activate the Installation and Configuration Report in an organization's Tetra Data and AI Workspace, see Activate an Embedded Data App. To upgrade to the latest app version, update the app's Image Version by following the instructions in Edit Embedded Data Apps Settings for Your Org.
v2.1.0
Release date: 6 August 2026
What's New
TetraScience has released its next version of the Installation and Configuration Report, version 2.1.0. This release adds new sheets covering AI workflows and data apps, and surfaces TetraScience AI Services version details in the Info sheet.
This app has been renamed to Installation and Configuration Report (previously Configuration Report Generator). The exported filename prefix changes from TDP-config-report__ to TDP-install-config-report__. The app slug (configuration-report) is unchanged, so existing links continue to work.
NOTE
- Each report is a point-in-time snapshot of an organization's current configuration, captured at the time the report is generated. It does not represent the configuration at the time of platform or application deployment. Configuration changes made after a deployment appear in the next report generated, not retroactively in an existing one. The
Report Generation Timefield on theInfosheet records the exact snapshot time.- Timezone: The
Report Generation Timefield on theInfosheet is recorded in UTC. Row-level timestamps reflect the platform timezone active when each record was created, so a single sheet may contain values in multiple offsets (for example, GMT+3 during daylight saving and GMT+2 outside it).
Prerequisites
Installation and Configuration Report v2.1.0 requires an activated Tetra Data & AI Workspace.
The AI Services version fields on the Info sheet and the AI Workflows sheet are populated only in organizations where AI Services is deployed and enabled. In organizations without AI Services, these fields are left empty.
New Functionality
New Functionality includes features not previously available in the Installation and Configuration Report.
New Selective Configuration Types
The Installation and Configuration Report page now includes a "Configuration types to include in the report" panel. All types are selected by default; deselect any you want to omit before generating.
New AI Workflows Sheet
The app now creates a dedicated AI Workflows sheet that lists the AI workflows configured in an organization. Each row includes the workflow name, namespace, artifact key, current version, review status, enabled state, description, and creation and update timestamps.
NOTEThe Artifact Key and Enabled state for AI workflows are captured in the report but are not surfaced in the customer-facing UI. For these fields, the report is the authoritative view.
New Data Apps and Linked Data Apps Sheets
The app now creates a dedicated Data Apps sheet listing the data apps available in an organization, including app name, namespace, slug, version, running status, type, and labels. A separate Linked Data Apps sheet lists connected (linked) data apps, including their name, ID, type, URL, namespace, slug, version, and labels.
AI Services Version Details in the Info Sheet
The Info sheet now includes the current AI Services version and the date of the last AI Services update. In environments where AI Services is not deployed, these fields are handled gracefully and left empty.
You can verify the AI Runtime Services Version by selecting the info (i) icon on the Scientific AI Workflows page. AI Services Deployment Date, AI Deployed By User Type, and AI Deployed By User Name reflect TetraScience-side infrastructure-as-code deployment metadata and are not exposed through the customer-accessible UI by design.
Enhancements
Enhancements are modifications to existing functionality that improve performance or usability, but don't alter the function or intended use of the system.
- The generated Excel file now opens with a read-only recommendation to help prevent accidental edits to the Installation and Configuration report.
- The
Infosheet AI Services version field label is now AI Runtime Services Version for clarity.
Bug Fixes
The following bug is now fixed:
- The app now supports TetraScience deployments that use self-signed certificates.
Deprecated Features
There are no new deprecated features in this release. For more information about product deprecations, see Tetra Product Deprecation Notices.
Known and Possible Issues
The following are known and possible issues in Installation and Configuration Report v2.1.0:
- On the
Pipeline Cfgsheet, a blankstatusvalue means the pipeline is enabled, matching the binary enabled/disabled toggle in the UI. The valuedisabledappears only when the pipeline's Enabled toggle is off. No value normalization is planned for this release.
Security
Various security updates were applied.
Upgrade Considerations
To upgrade to the latest app version, update the app's Image Version by following the instructions in Edit Embedded Data Apps Settings for Your Org.
