v2.3.0

Release date: 18 September 2026

TetraScience has released version 2.3.0 of the TetraScience AI Services user interface. This release rebuilds the AI Services page on the shared TetraScience user interface component library, which adds dark and light mode support and aligns the page's appearance with the rest of the TDP. It also fixes how the page handles Scientific AI Workflow artifacts that share a slug across namespaces, along with several display issues.

Here are the details for what's new in the TetraScience AI Services user interface v2.3.0.

Prerequisites

The TetraScience AI Services user interface v2.3.0 requires the following:

New Functionality

New functionality includes features not previously available in the TetraScience AI Services user interface.

Dark and Light Mode Support

The AI Services page now supports both the dark and light TDP mode and follows the mode selected for your TDP organization. Previously, the page's dark mode styling depended on the internal markup of its underlying component library and didn't render reliably.

Enhancements

Enhancements are modifications to existing functionality that improve performance or usability, but don't alter the function or intended use of the system.

Consistent Appearance with the Rest of the TDP

The AI Services page is now built on the shared TetraScience user interface component library that other TDP pages use. Buttons, cards, modals, tabs, status labels, form fields, and loading states on the page now match their equivalents elsewhere in the TDP, so the page's colors, spacing, and interaction behavior stay consistent as the TDP interface evolves. This change is visual only: no AI Services workflows, actions, or permissions changed.

Bug Fixes

The following bugs are now fixed:

  • Scientific AI Workflows that share the same slug in different namespaces (for example, the same workflow published in both the common namespace and an organization's client- namespace) are now shown and opened as separate artifacts. Previously, searching the AI Services page could display duplicate or empty tiles for these workflows, and selecting either tile opened the same artifact regardless of its namespace.
  • The AI Services page now displays version availability labels, action buttons, metadata labels, card backgrounds, tile hover states, and confirmation dialogs with the correct TDP colors and styling.
  • Activating, cancelling, or setting a default version for a Data App or Scientific AI Workflow no longer causes display issues on other TDP pages. Previously, after one of those actions, filter and sort controls and button labels on pages such as Pipelines, Search, and Health Monitoring could render incorrectly until the browser was refreshed.

Deprecated Features

There are no deprecated features in this release. For more information about Tetra Platform deprecations, see Tetra Product Deprecation Notices.

Known and Possible Issues

The following are known limitations of the TetraScience AI Services user interface v2.3.0:

  • Model Training UI Upload Failure: The Upload Supporting Files button in the AI Services UI does not work for model training workflows. As a workaround, upload model training files and initiate model training by using the AI Services API directly. A fix for this issue is scheduled for a future AI Services UI release.
  • Analyst Policy Install Workflow UI Access: Users assigned a role with an Analyst policy can view, but not use, the Install Workflow button even though the policy doesn't allow them to install an AI workflow or run an inference. A fix for this issue is scheduled for a future AI Services UI release.

Upgrade Considerations

To update the AI Services user interface version for your TDP organization, see Update the AI Services UI Version in the TetraScience AI Services User Guide.

After the update, verify the following:

  • The AI Services page loads and displays correctly in both the dark and light TDP modes
  • Installed Scientific AI Workflows appear with the expected namespace, version, and status
  • Installing, uninstalling, activating, and cancelling workflow versions completes successfully
  • Inference requests submitted from the page complete successfully

GxP Impact Assessment

All new TetraScience AI Services functionalities go through a GxP impact assessment to determine validation needs for GxP installations.

Enhancements and Bug Fixes do not generally affect Intended Use for validation purposes.

TetraScience AI Services is currently a limited availability release. Items marked as either a beta release or a limited availability release are not validated for GxP by TetraScience. However, customers can use these prerelease features and components in production if they perform their own validation.
