Tenants and Organizations
Tetra Data Platform (TDP) deployment settings are organized and managed through two types of entities: Tenants and organizations.
Tenants
Tenants are the highest level entity in the TDP. Each TetraScience customer is represented by one tenant that is made up of one or more organizations. The organizations that make up each tenant contain user accounts and provide access to specific datasets that can't be shared across organizations.
Customers configure password policies, single sign-on(SSO) settings, and TDP user timeout settings at the tenant level.
For more information, see Tenant Settings.
Organizations
Each tenant's data and user accounts are segmented into one or more organizations on the TDP. Data can't be shared across organizations, and each organization's data is only accessible to user accounts within that organization.
User accounts within each organization are configured with specific roles and policies. Users can also be assigned specific data access rules to limit what data within an organization each user can see.
All administrative settings that aren't configured at the tenant level are configured at the organization level.
For more information, see Organization Settings.
