The Tetra Data Assistant MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides AI coding assistants with specialized tools for working with TetraScience's Tetra Data. The MCP server extends AI-powered development environments with tools and prompts that help developers build, validate, and maintain Intermediate Data Schemas (IDSs) and task scripts.

Available Tools

The Tetra Data Assistant MCP Server provides the following tools:

Tool	Description
`CheckIDSConventions`	Look up IDS conventions and best practices by using natural language queries against a curated knowledge base included with the MCP server.
`CheckTaskScriptConventions`	Look up task script conventions and best practices by using natural language queries against a curated knowledge base included with the MCP server.
`IDSValidator`	Validate that your IDS artifacts comply with IDS standards. Optionally checks compatibility with previously published IDS versions when configured with `--config`.
`GenerateElasticsearchJSON`	Generate an `elasticsearch.json` file from an IDS directory for use with Elasticsearch indexing.
