Sign In and Out of TDP, View Account Details, and Manage Your Password

This topic explains how to:

  • Sign in to TDP
  • Change your personal password
  • View your personal account information
  • Sign out of TDP

Sign In to Tetra Data Platform (TDP)

To sign in to TDP:

  1. Open a supported browser and navigate to your Tetra Data Platform site.
  2. Sign in to the Tetra Data Platform using one of these methods.

If your Site Administrator HAS NOT enabled Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Enter your email and password, and then click Sign In.

  • If your Site Admin has enabled the single sign-on (SSO) feature for your organization, click Single Sign On to access the Tetra Data Platform.

Troubleshooting Single Sign-On Problems

If you cannot sign in using your SSO credentials, then based on the type of TDP deployment:

  • Determine if your SSO provider is having issues by logging in to another application to check the connection.
  • If you deployed TDP using Customer Hosted and Tetra Managed deployment, then ask your Site Admin to review the SSO configuration settings used.
  • If you deployed TDP using Tetra Managed, then contact your TetraScience Customer Support member.

NOTE:

TDP sessions automatically time out four hours after you log in. Simply log back in to continue to use it.

View Account Details

To view your account's details:

  1. From the Tetra Data Platform (TDP) page, click Account from the left side of the page.
  2. Click Account Details to open the Account details page.

Account Details page

  1. Your first and last name and email appears on the page.
  2. Your current organization appears near the bottom of the page.
  3. The personal token is discussed in more detail in this topic.

Change Your Password

To change your password:

  1. From the Tetra Data Platform (TDP) page, click Account from the left side of the page.
  2. Click Account Details to open the Account details page.
  3. In the Change password section at the bottom of the page, enter:
    a. Your current password.
    b. Your new password.
    c. Re-type your new password once again.
  4. Click Change Password to update your password.

Sign Out of TDP

To sign out of TDP:

  1. Access the main menu from the Tetra Data Platform page.
  2. From the bottom left side of the page, click Sign Out to return to the TDP sign in page.

Reset a Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password, then you can either:

  • Reset the password yourself; or
  • Ask the Site Admin of your organization to reset it for you

If the Site Admin for your organization has set the password reset policy for the Tetra Data Platform, then you can reset the password yourself from the Sign In page.

  1. Click Forgot Password?
  2. Enter your email, then click Reset Password.
  3. TetraScience will send an email to that account containing a link you can use to reset your password:

  1. Click the Reset Password link in the email message to access the TDP sign in page.

Enter New Password

  1. Enter your new password making sure that it meets these password requirements:
  • At least eight characters long.
  • Contains at least one uppercase letter.
  • Contains at least one lowercase letter.
  • Contains at least one number.
  1. Re-enter the new password again.
  2. Click Confirm Password. After successfully resetting your password, you can continue to sign in to the TDP.

Site Admin Password Reset

If the Site Admin for your organization has not enabled the password reset option, then you must contact your Site Admin to have your password reset for you. To reset a user's password as a Site Admin, click here TK-needs link.
